About the Author: Anna Johansson (Annapurna Devi Dasi) is a distinguished water colour artist and illustrator whose paintings and illustrations reflect her deep interest in nature and the bhakti yoga tradition of ancient India. The sacred spiritual world has been vividly in her consciousness and heart since she was a teenager in Sweden and was further reinforced by living, paraying, and working sixteen years in an ashram/farm community in Sweden. Anna is basically a self-taught artist although she studied one year of art foundation in Sweden, has and completed an Associate degree in Art from Community College in Philadelphia
